I booked online thinking it would save time, but we still ended up standing in a huge queue at the entrance for ages. It was really frustrating because nobody seemed to know what was going on, and the whole process felt completely disorganized. I ended up raising it with the staff because it defeated the point of booking ahead.

Stopped in for coffee and cake, and overall it was a nice experience. The cakes were really good, but the coffee felt a bit expensive for what it was. I only really noticed when I checked the receipt afterwards. Still a pleasant spot, just not the cheapest.

We’ve visited a few National Trust places this year and I’ve really enjoyed every one. The old houses are always so well looked after, and the gardens are lovely to wander around, even when the weather isn’t great. It’s made for some really nice days out, and I’m glad we got the membership.

Not saying it’s a scam, but it was so packed that it was hard to enjoy anything properly. There were crowds everywhere, and the paths felt really poorly managed, so we spent more time trying to get through people than actually taking it all in

I used to feel like the membership was a decent deal, but lately it just feels too expensive for what I’m actually getting. For me personally, the value isn’t there anymore.

and we use nationaltrust.org.uk often when we’re planning a day out. Most of the information is there, but I do find the accessibility details can be a bit vague sometimes, especially around paths, toilets, and parking. It’s not always clear if things are up to date either.
The places themselves are usually lovely, and it’s handy having cafes and toilets on site, but busy days can make everything feel a bit more stressful, especially for anyone with mobility issues. We still enjoy visiting, I just wish the website made the practical stuff a bit clearer.

I liked the conservation efforts overall, and you can tell there’s care behind it. That said, the tone in some areas kind of gives the impression they’re not getting as much attention as others. A few spots just felt like they could use a bit more upkeep.

Like I said, the replies were really slow. It took days to hear back, and like I said, even after all that waiting, they still didn’t actually sort the issue out.

The parking spaces themselves were totally fine and easy enough to use. But this is where it got annoying, the price felt a bit high for what it was. Overall, it worked, but I wish it had been a little more reasonable

We’ve been to a couple of National Trust places over the past month and, the staff were so helpful each time. From the car park to inside the house, they explained everything really clearly and, you know, never made us feel like we had to hurry along.
The volunteers were lovely as well, especially with my mum, who needed to take things at a slower pace. It just made the whole day feel relaxed and easy... a really friendly day out. Thanks so much!
